5th Annual Pat Noyes Golf Experience Recap Frigid temperatures were not enough to keep the 5th Annual Pat Noyes Golf Experience and 4th Annual Sports Memorabilia Auction from being a tremendous success.
McPherson College Graduates 128 Seniors Seniors at McPherson College closed one chapter of their lives that so that another might open. One Hundred twenty eight graduates walked across the stage to receive their diplomas during commencement exercises on Sunday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
Local Educators Selected to Participate Dr. Ocie Kilgus, Dr. Ken Yohn and Dr. Michael Reynolds were all selected to participate in the annual Reading and scoring of the College Board AP Examinations this June in Spanish Language, U.S. Governement and Calculus, respectively.

Dolly creeps toward Texas-Mexico border Hurricane Dolly drifted northwestward toward the border of Mexico and Texas, where it was expected to make landfall at around noon Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Over the next few days, Dolly is expected to drench much of south Texas and northeastern Mexico with six to 10 inches of rain.
'Family wants justice' in Taser death Baron Pikes, 21, was Tasered nine times by a police officer. He was stunned so many times the coroner says it's possible Pikes was already dead during the final two shocks. Now a Louisiana prosecutor must decide whether to seek charges against the officer. "The family wants justice," an attorney said.
Sect leader charged with child sex assault A Texas grand jury has indicted polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs on a charge of sexually assaulting a child. The state attorney general says four of Jeffs' followers are charged with sexually assaulting girls under 17. A fifth follower is charged with failure to report child abuse. The charges follow an ill-fated custody case in which more than 400 kids were placed in foster care.
